David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American anchor, journalist and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. The dramatic footage on video and its animated gestures has made it the top popular newscast in the United States. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, He was the main substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. ABC News has broadcast many specials during primetime, with including the most recent one, Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's traveled all over the globe to report on the latest news coming from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors and awards by The Associated Press.
