Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. Her first two movies were noticed and she received an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three years, she was named the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw married three people.
