Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. After that, she acted on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. The same year, She made her debut album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. Her next role that she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamour doll image she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director for popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
