Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and acrobat. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". However, she's primarily musician. According to her, is the very first thing she is passionate about. She began playing with it at age nine. When she was 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began training professionally. In 2013, she picked on songwriting and produced her first album. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic roots. While she grew up with exclusively English and has never lived in Mexico she's very satisfied with her Hispanic culture. She endeavours to preserve it by becoming fluent in Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. While she auditioned initially on her own at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were put into a group for the rest of the auditions. Live shows were staged in the fifth week.
