Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome and raised by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito Mussolini's mistresses. The siblings of Luciana are not known. Luciana was a student at an elementary school in the area before going at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in her class. After two years she started her career as a model however that changed shortly afterwards when she got her first acting role when she was visitng her father's acquaintance in Rome her first role was a small two-line part in Three Coins in the Fountain and that was when it all began. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. They got married in 1960 and produced the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received custody after the couple broke up a few years later. Charles had been born. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana was with Tony Athony, an actor and producer who was influenced by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on his script and production of this mixed Spaghetti Western for which he was a bit of a hit.
